One way we demonstrate this commitment is through our support of Kin Culture, a transformative initiative aimed at assisting orphans on the Hoopenberg farm in reintegrating into the community and rebuilding their lives.
South Africa is home to millions of orphans and vulnerable children facing immense challenges. At Kin Culture, they believe in the power of family in its most beautiful, expansive, inclusive, and redemptive sense. They envision a world where guests become relatives, homes are open, and love and burdens are shared. This more significant, more beautiful picture of family is what the church can offer the world – a family of families to vulnerable children. Therefore, their mission is to build and support a community of loving, generous families to provide homes for vulnerable children, a vision that Bridgevest wholeheartedly supports.
Disturbingly, one out of every three children in South Africa experiences abuse. Through our partnership with Kin Culture, Hoopenberg has already made a significant impact by assisting over 125 children in rebuilding their lives and reintegrating into the community.
